Being is a short, interactive experience that simulates the creation of an entity, as they are guided through a series of colorful environments that explore fundamental aspects of personhood: consciousness, memories, community, and identity.
Players engage with abstract shapes and concepts, gather puzzling objects imbued with hidden meaning, and forge connections with unique beings. Their experiences weave to shape a deeply personal narrative, culminating in the creation of a special Being - ultimately reflecting each player’s own sense of self.
I developed Being in 2020 as my thesis project at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where it received the Sandberg Award for Exceptional Achievements in Design. In 2022 it was awarded “Best Project” in the digital media category at the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival.
